Expertise My research focuses on marine biodiversity, ecology of hard substrate communities, taxonomy and biogeography of sessile invertebrates. My scientific field includes research on non-indigenous species, symbiotic relationships, underwater sampling, visual census techniques and scientific diving. I have also studied aspects of marine conservation and restoration and have been involved in biodiversity informatics and citizen science projects.
