I have a doctorate (2008) and postdoctoral (2009) in Zoology (PPGZOO) by the Federal University of Paraná. I like Ecology, Evolution and Conservation, especially the ecology of bioinvasions. I am currently Assistant Professor IV in the Environmental Engineering Department of the Federal University of Paraná and consultant to agencies such as CAPES, CNPq, The National Geography Foundation, The National Research Foundation (NRF) - South Africa and several scientific journals (eg Diversity and Distributions, Conservation Biology, Biological Invasions, Fish and Fisheries and Hydrobiology).
