The International Association for Open Knowledge on Invasive Alien Species (INVASIVESNET) is sponsoring 12 participants of the international summer school “Monitoring marine alien species in ports with the SERC protocol” co-organized by the Aquatic Ecology Lab, University of Pavia and the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center.
The organising committee of the international summer school selected the names of twelve participants who can attend the online lectures free of charge, as their positions are sponsored by an INVASIVESNET grant for “Improving Communication, Action and Open Data on Biological Invasions”
The names of the winners are:
Yasmina Belkacem, El Ouarda Bensedira, Karima Soumani from Algeria; Yaya Soro from Côte d'Ivoire; Rasha Heneish from Egypt; Nairika Bharucha from India; Winda Mercedes from Indonesia; Diala Edde from Lebanon; Allison Durand from Peru; Abir Gharbi, Rjiba Bahri from Tunisia; and Halyna Morhun from Ukraine.
We congratulate all the winners! They will have the opportunity to meet the INVASIVESNET president, Dr. Frances Lucy, during the first day of the summer school on June 28th, 2021.
